Another Ride-Sort Of

Since this Blog is called Two Wheeling I think my latest adventure is pertinent. A couple of weeks ago I was topping off the gas tank on my minivan when I saw fuel dripping onto the ground under the car. I immediately thought that the pipe that leads from the side of the car to the tank was probably leaking and called my local garage to have them confirm it by inspecting the pipe. Finally! A Ride!

It finally happened. The weather warmed up into the forty degree range and the roads were a little less white from salt yesterday. I dragged a bike out to ride in celebration. It's very fortunate that the 50cc bike is so light because the word "Dragged" was quite appropriate. There is still a think ice and snow berm in front of the garage from us walking across and compacting it into a solid path. A Third Memory

Still cold and snowy out there so I'll regale you with another tale of my past bikes. This was the last motorcycle I owned and pictures of it appeared on this blog in the beginning of my writing endeavors. It was a Kawasaki W650 which was a retro styled machine that resembled a 1960s British motorcycle. When I first saw it in magazines the "Got to have It" bell chimed.
